Animal Care Centre Policies

Booking appointments:
​

  1. Either by phone-403-938-0350 during working hours

  2. Email to carectr@telus.net with preferred days and times

 

We are unable to accommodate unscheduled appointments due to being a busy one veterinary practice. Thanks you for your understanding with this!

 

Prescription refills/Special Food orders:
​

  1. Long term medications-please call the clinic ahead of time when needing a refill. We may need time to order it or get it ready so 24 hour notice is required

  2. Special food orders-often take 48 hours to get in so allow at least this time period when ordering

 
Appointment times:
​

  1. New clients-if you could take the time to fill in our new client forms-this ensures proper spelling, addresses and all owners on file

  2. Leashes-all dogs must be leashed for the safety of all pets and owners

  3. Carriers-cats in carriers are safest-soft kennels are the  easiest way to access them without undue stresses

  4. Payment is required at the time of appointments or surgeries.  We accept cash, Visa, Mastercard and Debit.

 

Phone or email advice:

We are unable to diagnose over the phone or by email.  A proper diagnosis is required to treat appropriately and this means our veterinarian needs to perform an examination on your pet .
